Sinead Cleary joins the team following her induction period and assumes the role of Care Advisor. Sinead will be in charge of all field staff ensuring that they are constantly upskilled, monitored and supervised in their roles as care givers. Bluebird Care Dublin – HSE Training Elder Abuse Awareness

Pauline Ducray Senior Social Worker with HSE,  has kindly arranged further training in February for Bluebird Care staff. The course will focus on recognising and responding to elder abuse. This is a repeat module – completed last March – however it has been adapted so as it is more applicable to care in the community and home care. Thanks once again to Pauline Ducray for arranging this.

Bluebird Care (Galway) – Rosemary Waweru RIP

It is extreme regret that we have to announce the tragic loss of Rosemary Waweru who died tragically in a car accident while on holiday in Kenya where Rosemary was visiting her family.  Rosemary was Bluebird Care (Galway) Carer of the year 2010 and she is greatly missed by all her Customers and fellow workers. May she rest in peace.
