Gavin Kane, Director of Bluebird Care Meath will be mounting his bike and taking on the Cuba Cycle Challenge 2012 November 12th to 20th to raise much needed funds for the Alzheimer Society of Ireland.
Gavin who is currently training ahead of his 4 day cycling challenge distancing 260km over an undulating terrain, says, “I love a good challenge and when it benefits a good cause I am even more driven. The training is intensive but I am gearing up and looking forward to the experience and I hope to raise as much money as possible for the very worthy work of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland along my journey”
Over the past two years the Cuba Challenge cyclists have raised over €170,000 for families in Ireland struggling to cope with the devastating condition of Alzheimer’s disease. By supporting this cause you too can help these families to obtain the services that they so urgently need.
