At Bluebird Care Dublin North East we provide home care to a wide range of individuals ensuring they can live independently and comfortably at home. This means they can continue to remain part of their own community in the company of friends and family.

Who are our clients?
Bluebird Care offer care services across a broad spectrum of the community. We offer assistance to anyone who may need help at home or in their community. We work closely with the HSE in the provision of services to older people. We also work with the colleges in our area to provide services to students with disabilities.
Prior to providing services we meet with our prospective customer and carry out a comprehensive care needs assessment.
This ensures that the care plan we put in place is fully person centred and tailored to the needs of the customer and their loved ones. Our range of services includes but is not limited to the following:
- personal care (ie assistance with washing and dressing)
- grocery shopping
- overnight care
- assistance with mobility, walking and light exercise
- accompanying to appointments or other excursions
- prompting medication
- light housework duties, including laundry
- preparing nutritious meals and or assisting with feeding
- Morning or Night assistance with bedtime routines
Regardless of what services our customers require they all enjoy a visit from their friendly, cheerful homecare assistant.
Who are our home care staff?
At Bluebird Care Dublin Northeast we are very proud of our care staff. Our team are friendly, caring and qualified to the appropriate standards for their role. We have a very diverse skill set to meet the varying needs of our customers including Social Care workers, Healthcare assistants, and PA’s. All our staff have been fully Garda Vetted and completed all relevant mandatory training such as induction and patient moving and handling.
Our care staff are all enrolled on continuous personal development courses through on-line elearning and we regularly offer customer specific tailored training courses in particular with respect to dementia care.

Emer joined The Bluebird Care Team in January 2015 as General Manager of Dublin North & Dublin North East. With a background of 16 years in Transport & Logistics, & Recruitment, Emer moved into the Homecare Industry in 2008. Working firstly as a Homecare Co-Ordinator, moving upwards to a Care Manager position.
In her role, Emer is responsible for the day to day management of the office and of the hard working team of staff and carers, communicating with Client’s and Healthcare Professionals. Emer is focused on ensuring that all Client’s receive the upmost respect and the delivery of the highest standard of care to enable them to stay in their own homes
Siobhan joined the Bluebird Care Team in October 2016 as Care Manager. Siobhan qualified as an Intellectual Disability Nurse in 2011. She has experience caring for children and adults who have physical and intellectual disabilities in both residential and day settings. Siobhan also holds a Masters in Clinical Leadership. In the role of Care Manager Siobhan is responsible for carrying out assessments, developing care plans, and communicating with other healthcare professionals.
Catherine joined Bluebird Care in May 2016 as a Care Coordinator. Catherine comes with a ten year background in transport logistics administration. Catherine prepares the weekly rosters and schedules for all care staff and deals with the daily queries from both clients and care staff, ensuring all needs are met accordingly. Catherine enjoys her diverse role in the healthcare industry since joining Bluebird Care.
Zoe O Neill
Zoe joined Bluebird Care in 2016 as a Care Coordinator and Recruiter. Zoe has over ten years’ experience in Administration and two years’ experience as a fully qualified Healthcare Assistant. She believes that her previous experience as Healthcare Assistant provides her with the wisdom to understand how important her current role is to both customers and Healthcare Assistants alike particularly how important it is to provide strong continuity of care is to both parties.
In her role Zoe prepares the weekly rosters for our Care assistants and is always ready to deal with client and staff queries in an efficient manner.
Katie joined the Bluebird Care Team in October 2015 as a HR officer. Her professional approach led to her new role as 3rd Level Care Coordinator. Katie holds a degree in Business and uses her business knowledge to ensure high standards of home care for all our clients. Katie works closely with the Access officers and disability teams in each of the 3rd level institutions and is responsible for preparing and organising PA rosters. She is also responsible for the provision of Readers, Scribes and other Educational Support Workers to 3rd level institutions and for note taking services and exam support.
Katie interacts regularly with both clients and carers, and is always at hand to deal with any queries or questions in a friendly and efficient manner. Katie thoroughly enjoys the variety and various aspects of her role and the ability of utilise her experience and qualifications.
Leanne joined the Bluebird Care Team early in 2017. Leanne has BA (Hons) degree in Social Care Practice from the Institute of Technology, Tallaght. She has extensive experience in the provision of care in both social care areas and as a health care assistant.
