Our team at Bluebird Care Longford, Roscommon and Westmeath bring both professionalism and personality to bear on our work. We have an acute awareness that our role involves everyday life continuing for the people we care for and their families. We provide person-centred care and take time to get to know our customers and their patterns of life. We are led by your personal requirements but we bring our professionalism and experience to bear in providing our range of services.
We adhere to strict criteria and guidelines in relation to client confidentiality and all our staff are fully trained with a minimum of FETAC Level 5 in a healthcare discipline.

Oliver Daly M.Sc. Health Care Management
Oliver Daly is vastly experienced in both the commercial and health care arenas. Oliver obtained a Masters Degree in Health Care Management from the Royal College of Surgeons, Dublin, in 2013.
Oliver has worked as Lead Manager for Quality, Standards and Compliance in disability services, Operational Manager in a care facility and General Manager of a Pharmacy Group.
15 years experience as General Manager of the primary outlets of two multi-national organisations, allied to four years entrepreneurial endeavor, has endowed Oliver with an impressive array of managerial skills and attributes including leadership and team building, quality assurance, policy development and strategic initiative. He is also highly skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution and has finely-honed his communication skills. Oliver is the ideal person to lead person-centred care teams.
Shauna Sabatini RGN.
Shauna Sabatini, a registered general nurse, is vastly experienced in clinical and healthcare management. Shauna is approved as a Fit Person by HIQA and has a FETEC Level 6 in Management and Leadership. She holds a Special Purpose Award in Gerontology.
Shauna was previously Director of Nursing in Nightingale Nursing Home, her expertise ensures the highest standards in Clinical Governance. She is highly respected within the healthcare community and is a warm caring and empathetic individual with an instinctive ability to ascertain and meet customers’ needs. She is committed to bridging the gap between secondary and primary care and is a passionate advocate for promotion of homecare in the community.
She understands you, our customers, your patterns of life, your need for quality-driven home care. Shauna’s personal and managerial qualities, extensive experience and caring nature make her an ideal care manager.
Laura McLoughlin RGN
Laura McLoughlin, a registered general nurse, has extensive experience in management and clinical care. She is a very outgoing bubbly individual who enjoys working with clients and their families to provide the highest standards of care.
Laura has previously worked both in Ireland and Australia. She has worked in Sydney’s largest trauma hospital the Royal Prince Alfred. Since returning to Ireland Laura has worked as Clinical Nurse Manager in The Galway Clinic.
She has vast experience in quality improvement programmes and holds a certificate of recognition for contribution and participation in a Lean Sigma Systems and JCI. She has also been involved in the HIQA registration process.
Currently Laura is undertaking a Management Development Programme QQI Level 6.
Laura’s multi-cultural experience has endowed her with an array of managerial skills: sensitive communication expertise, organisational ability, inspirational leadership which makes her the ideal person to lead the team a high standard of care in your home.
Lana has a degree from the Faculty of Economics and Business in Master of Science in Business Economics. She gained extensive experience over the past 4 years in project management and marketing. Adept at coordinating and performing an assortment of marketing and administrative duties and managing multiple projects simultaneously, she is driven by new challenges and desire to be successful in all endeavours.
She is empathic, open-minded, demonstrates strong leadership, and has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Lana joined the company as Care coordinator to contribute with her expertise and she is excited to support the team in her role to liaise both Bluebird Care staff and customers.
