Bluebird Care Meath – Staff Training Elder Abuse

Staff at Bluebird Care Meath have now completed the Elder Abuse training module. This training was carried out by Oonagh McAteer, Dedicated Officer for Protection of Older People, HSE, Dublin North East. The course focused on recognising and responding to elder abuse. The feedback from our Care Staff was that this was a very informative and a very helpful training module to facilitate the delivery of the highest quality home care. A big thank you to all our Carers & Oonagh for attending the course.

Bluebird Care Meath – Care Manager Appointment

Bluebird Care Meath are delighted to announce the appointment of Louise Wayenberg RGN, MA, BSc as our Care Manager.

Louise has in excess of 20 years nursing & management experience and will be a huge asset to the Bluebird Care team in Meath. Prior to joining Bluebird Care, Louise worked as a Clinical Nurse Manager in two of Ireland’s largest hospitals and also holds both a Master of Arts & Bachelor of Science in Health Management from Trinity College.

Louise will be in charge of recruitment, monitoring staff and customers and will bring in all of her experience to help sustain the high level of care already being provided by Bluebird Care Meath. “We wish Louise all the best in her career with Bluebird Care”, said Directors J.J. Bluebird Care is delighted to announce the opening of its 14th office in Meath, serving the county from the 4th of April
2011. The offices are located at Unit 2, Oldtown Road, Johnstown, Navan, Co. Meath where they
are presently recruiting and raising awareness of the unique care services provided by Bluebird
Care. The Directors J.J. Fay and Gavin Kane can’t wait to get started and along with their team are
implementing the robust induction training that all Bluebird Care staff must undertake successfully
prior to commencing work.

Bluebird Care Meath offers private home care to the elderly, acquired brain injury clients, those with
physical & mental disabilities and those requiring some respite care. From a minimum visit time of
15 minutes, Bluebird Care Meath offers hourly care, overnight care and complete live in care, all care
plans ensuring you receive the care you need in the home you love. Bluebird care is dedicated to
