We are delighted to announce the new Care Manager in Bluebird Care Meath.
Margaret Cartwright MA , BA, has worked in the areas of Physical and sensory disabilities, Community Care, Pastoral Care, Education and Community development, bringing an wealth of knowledge and experience to this key role. Margaret holds a Masters in both Leadership and Supervisory Practice. Her other qualifications include a BA in Theology and Philosophy and a BA in Community Development. Margaret is also a member of the interview panel for the Accreditation of Healthcare Chaplin’s in Ireland, a full member of the Supervisors association of Ireland (S.A.I) and the National Association of Healthcare Chaplaincy (N.A.H.C.)
Previous to joining the Bluebird Care Team, Margaret was Director of Services at L’Arche Community, providing residential care for people with Physical and Intellectual disabilities. She was instrumental in the setting up of community based independent living for individuals with disabilities. She has worked extensively with HSE colleagues and has compiled policies and procedures in adherence with HIQA standards to ensure compliance with regulation. Margaret’s previous positions include eight years at Mount Carmel Hospital Margaret as Care Co Ordinator and as Director of Field Placements at All Hallows College.
Margaret has vast experience in the management field. In her new role Margaret will primarily be responsible for the day-to-day running of the business, the management of care workers and liaising with customers. Bluebird Care Meath Director, J.J.
