Bluebird Care Sponsors ‘Strictly’ in East Clare

Bluebird Care Clare was delighted to be one of the sponsors of the recent Strictly Come Dancing competition in East Clare. They were privileged to be associated with a great fundraiser in aid of two cancer charities.

A total of €70,000 was raised for two deserving charities namely, Children’s Cancer Research Appeal at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin and for Mid Western Cancer Foundation.

Breda Collins, Care Manager at Bluebird Care Clare says, “we were delighted to get involved in a project that instills community spirit, brings people together for a happy occasion and fundraises for a cause that touches the lives of so many people. Well done to Martina Minogue and the various communities involved.”

Held on the 31st of August in the West County Hotel in Ennis, the night was a great example of community spirit. 13 couples took to the dance floor battling it out for the title. Look out for the DVD which will be released in the coming weeks.
