Claire White RGN has been appointed as Acting Care Manager to cover maternity leave of our existing Care Manager.  Claire has an exceptional background and has vast experience in nursing including working at the Bon Secours in Cork.  We welcome Claire and wish her the best for the future during her work with Bluebird Care.

Bluebird Care Galway welcomes a new member to the management team

Welcome to the Bluebird Care Team Kathy

Bluebird Care (Galway) are delighted to welcome a new edition to the management team.  Kathy McGann RGN, originally from Roscommon and now living in Galway joined the Bluebird Care team in Galway on the 3rd of September. Kathy qualified as an RGN with a Bachelor of Science (honors) in General Nursing from Athlone Institute of Technology. Prior to joining the Bluebird team Kathy has worked in many health Care Settings  and has gained valuable experience in caring for many different  types of patients.  Kathy will be responsible for ensuring that Customer Care Plans are of the very highest standard and that Care Support Workers deliver these Care Plans to the most exacting standards.
Managing Director Sean Lyons says “this appointment is a testament to our on-going growth and to our continuous commitment to providing the highest standards of Care to our Customers” Mr Lyons also said “I am delighted to welcome Kathy on-board as I believe that she is bringing much technical skill and experience to our operations.”

Bluebird Care Kerry/West Cork runs the Dingle Half Marathon

7 candidates were challenged to run the half marathon in Dingle last Saturday the 1st September. Bluebird Care Kerry/West Cork committed to donating €300 to a charitable organisation of choice, if all candidates completed the run. Without much sweat all made the finish line.

We are delighted to make this years donation to such an important organisation as Enable Ireland. We have a good relationship with the staff and their service users there. If we can give something back to the Kerry community we are delighted to do so. I would also like to thank the runners for accepting the challenge for such a good cause’, says Marc de Courcy, Managing Director Bluebird Care Kerry/West Cork.
