The team at Bluebird Care Meath would like to wish our Director Gavin Kane all the best as he sets off on his Cuba Cycling Challenge on Monday. Gavin has raised over €4,000 so far for The Alzheimer Society of Ireland which will be donated to the 2 local support groups here in County Meath.
Looking ahead to his cycling challenge distancing 260km over an undulating terrain, Gavin says, “I love a good challenge and when it benefits a good cause I am even more driven. It will be an intensive challenge but I am all geared up and looking forward to the experience and I hope to raise as much money as possible for the very worthy work of the Alzheimer Society of Ireland along my journey”
Over the past two years the Cuba Challenge cyclists have raised over €170,000 for families in Ireland struggling to cope with the devastating condition of Alzheimer’s disease. By supporting this cause you too can help these families to obtain the services that they so urgently need.
