The Special Olympics World Games were hosted in Ireland 10 years ago. To mark the occasion Bluebird Care has launched a nationwide fundraising campaign which will see them challenge their Directors, Managers and staff to do ‘Summit for the Weekend’ all in aid of Special Olympics Ireland.
“18 offices. 18 challenges. One Target. Because no challenge is insurmountable when it comes to the Special Olympics Ireland athletes,” says Eddie O’Toole, Operations Director with Bluebird Care.
Bluebird Care Clare has decided to take on the challenge by organising a five-mile walk through the famous Burren. It takes place on Sunday the 18th of August at 12.00p.m. The team along with members of the public will take in the scenic route from Ballyvaughan seafront to Aillwee Caves, where they will stop for refreshments.
Bluebird Care Clare is inviting members of the public to take part in this event. You can meet the Bluebird Care team at the Ballyvaughan sea front at 11.30am or contact Kay Leahy on 065-6868222 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
