Food for the Soul Debuts at Taste of Donegal Food Festival
We are delighted to exclusively reveal that Food for the Soul, our cookbook in association with celebrity chef Gary O’Hanlon, will be launched at the 2014 Taste of Donegal Food Festival on the 22nd of August.
The book has been in development for the past 18 months and with it comes a suite of online videos featuring Gary cooking recipes from the book.
Operations Director Eddie O’Toole says, “We have invested so much time and expertise in this publication and we are excited to finally see its release approaching. Food for the Soul is exactly what the name suggests. It is about home cooked recipes to inspire the heart and warm the soul. Gary has penned a back-story for reach recipe so each one is designed with someone or some place in mind. They are very personal dishes for Gary and we hope everyone that cooks one or more will see that.”
Gary O’Hanlon, Head Chef at VM Restaurant at Viewmount House in Longford is partnering with Bluebird Care on this his first published cookbook. He says, “This partnership is one which I have really enjoyed. Bluebird Care are passionate about their customers and wanted to give something back and I am really proud to be chosen as the author of this cookbook.”
Following the publication of Food for the Soul, Bluebird Care and Gary O’Hanlon will launch a nationwide series of free cookery demonstrations.
