National Quality Standard Nomination for Bluebird Care
Business Group of the Year finalist at National Q Mark Awards
Homecare-company Bluebird Care has been shortlisted for ‘National Business Group of the Year’ for the second year running at the forthcoming Q Mark of Excellence Awards.
Bluebird Care won the title in 2013 and is hoping to retain it this year. The company is the first franchised homecare company in Ireland to have all 24 offices certified with the Q Mark of Excellence standard, which is overseen by Excellence Ireland Quality Association (EIQA).
Meanwhile, Bluebird Care in Galway and Meath are finalists in the ‘Homecare company of the Year’ category for their individual commitment to excellence in quality standards.
The awards take place in the DoubleTree by Hilton Dublin – Burlington Road on Friday 26th September 2014.
Irene Collins, Managing Director of Excellence Ireland Quality Association – the proud guardians of The Q Mark – says the awards “celebrate outstanding levels of commitment to quality standards.”
Operations Director of Bluebird Care, Eddie O’Toole says the ethos of the company is to deliver the quality standards that customers expect.
“We are a people business and we deliver homecare packages that respond to the needs of our customers at home and in the community setting. Therefore, we’ve always had quality at the heart of everything we do. We are pro-regulation of the homecare sector and in the absence of that we adhere to the EIQA quality system together with implementing our own internal quality audits.”
