Tracheostomy Training in Cork



On Wednesday August 6th, team members from Bluebird Care in Cork took part in Tracheostomy Training. Three Registered General Nurses, six Carers, Care Manager Sally Madden, Care Supervisor Laura Vaughan and Care Coordinator, Helena Dennehy attended the course.

The training was carried out by Carolyn Tompkins of Tompkins Training, a UK based company. Tompkins Training provides quality training supports to staff in the Health and Social Care Sector, particularly where the service use has complex care issues.

Director of Bluebird Care Don O’Riordan says, “Continuing professional development is vital in the care sector to ensure that staff can deliver the highest standards of care.”
