We have a fantastic opportunity for a Recruitment Specialist keen to progress in their career to join our Team. This is an immediate start role.

Your responsibilities as a Recruitment Specialist will include . . .

  • Manage the full recruitment life cycle for all hires across Bluebird Care (Dublin South)
  • Obtaining necessary approval for job specifications and agreeing the recruitment process with Care Manager/Finance Manager
  • Proactively attracting and sourcing candidates directly via a range of methods to include but not limited to: websites, social media and internal systems
  • Promoting the employee referral scheme with a view to increasing the number of hires from this source
  • Developing a detailed understanding of healthcare services, specifically the roles assigned
  • Building and maintaining excellent relationships with internal healthcare assistants/nurses as well as new candidates
  • Short-listing applications, conducting competency-based interviews and assessments, providing timely feedback to candidates, clients and recruitment agencies
  • Updating and managing all candidate activity through internal system
  • Decrease cost per hire and time to hire metrics whilst maintaining a high quality of hire via the referral system
  • Preparing and negotiating job offers
  • Ensuring a smooth on-boarding process for newly hired employees and proactive candidate management to ensure they are engaged throughout the process
  • Managing the relationship with universities and for Recruitment Fairs to attract Nurses and Healthcare Assistants
  • Other responsibilities include: Supporting the Care Manager and Finance Manager in producing recruitment metrics and reports for the business

Qualifications & Experience

  • 1- 2 years of experience in in-house or agency Recruitment and passionate about recruitment
  • A proven track record of working to metrics/targets
  • Superior written, presentation and verbal communication skills
  • Effective Time Management skills
  • Positive “can-do” attitude
