Presentation to Active Retirement Mallow

Don O’Riordan, Director of Bluebird Care Cork will address the Mallow Active Retirement Association next Wednesday 16th April in the Parish Centre, West End, Mallow at 11:00am.

Don says the partnership between Bluebird Care and Active Retirement Ireland is one which will see joint initiatives launched on areas of mutual interest.

“We are an official supplier to the 2014 Irish Open providing mobility services to ensure the event is accessible. So we have negotiated a concession rate for members of Active Retirement Ireland so we hope members from the Cork ARA’s will come out and see the international event which is on their doorstep this year in Fota Island Golf Resort.”

Active Retirement Ireland has 550 Associations nationwide comprising 24,500 members.

We wanted to share to share some images with you from our various fundraising events for charity.  CSR is a big part of our corporate strategy and giving back to communities and organisations that support people living independently.

Each year we donate 20% of our marketing budget to CSR and so we made a video to show you just a sample of what we do. If this video makes you happy, please share it!

Food for the Soul Cookery Demonstration

Chef Gary O’Hanlon will cook recipes from our forthcoming cookbook Food for the soul at Active Retirement Ireland’s Trade and Tourism Show which takes place in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Galway.

Bluebird Care is partnering with Active Retirement Ireland on a number of events this year. Active Retirement Ireland has 24,500 members in 550 Active Retirement Associations across Ireland.

Be sure to call into the Trade & Tourism Show on Tuesday 8th April in the Radisson Blu Hotel.
