Bluebird Care were delighted to be involved in the action with this year’s Cork Sports Ability Day at The UCC Mardyke Arena on Saturday 18th April. Guests on the day included John Treacy CEO of the Irish Sports Council, Mayor of County Cork Cllr Alan Coleman and Niamh Briggs Captain of the Irish Women’s Rugby Team. All the special guests, participants, groups and visitors made it a fantastic event. Don O’Riordan, Director of Bluebird Care Cork has overseen logistics on the course and his team are ensuring that the Tournament is accessible to people of all ages and all abilities.

“It is very important for us to ensure the event is accessible. We approached the European Tour last year and asked if we could support them in planning the event giving due regard to people with disabilities and people with limiting mobility issues. It has been a seamless working relationship and customers attending and using our event mobility services have appreciated it.”
