Bluebird Care Galway – National Award Nominee, Job Opportunities & Continued Investment in Quality Care

Later this month Bluebird Care will attend the National Q Mark Awards in Dublin in recognition of their commitment to excellence in quality homecare. Bluebird Care in Galway has been shortlisted for Homecare Company of the Year while the national organisation has been shortlisted for Business Group of the Year.

Sean Lyons, Director of Bluebird Care in Galway says the nominations are a reflection of their investment in and commitment to quality care. “It’s no surprise that we are shortlisted for Business Group of the Year for two consecutive years. We won the award last year and we have built on that success this by continuing to invest in quality standards.

“I am particularly pleased that our office in Galway has been nominated for Homecare Company of the Year and this is simply due to the hard work and commitment of our entire team led by Carolyn Corless who consider care a career and not just a job.’

Bluebird Care has been operating in Galway City and County for the past six years and are experiencing year-on-year growth. Sean Lyons says this is good news for the local economy as they recently launched yet another recruitment campaign.

“In the past 12 months we have recruited 11 new staff and at the moment we are hiring 10 Care Assistants. We will host a Recruitment Open Day at our offices in Parkmore on Saturday 13th September from 10:00am to 4:00pm.

All job seekers are invited to drop in for more information or they can apply by sending a CV to galway@bluebirdcare.ie or apply online at bluebirdcare.ie. For more information call 091 4 800 48. Flexible hours are available.
