Night Care to help you or a loved one sleep soundly through the night

We offer two types of Night Care, both of which are provided by a highly trained and dedicated team of Care Assistants or Nurses working throughout the night. That way, the people who matter most to you can feel safe and supported, no matter what time of day it is.

Night Care at Home

Night care (also known as overnight care) is when a healthcare assistant stays in your home offering support as needed throughout the night.

Ideal for people who need a little more support at night or in the early hours, night care falls under two categories: sleep-in care and waking night care.

At Bluebird Care, we provide high quality overnight care, tailored to you and your unique needs. Our dedicated team work through the night, allowing you to feel safe and supported in your home, whatever the time.

Sleeping Night Care

Sleeping Night Care means that one of our Care Assistants or Nurses will sleep in your loved one’s home for eight hours or more. So, they’re always around if needed. But this is less about continual support throughout the night and more about giving your loved one peace of mind and the comfort of knowing they’re not alone.

That way they’ll feel more relaxed, less anxious and be less likely to miss out on that all-important shuteye.

Who’s Sleeping Night for?

Sleeping night care is for people who mostly sleep through the night at home but may need occasional support, reassurance or access to a trained carer once or twice overnight. This option is ideal is you or your loved one would feel safer and more relaxed knowing a care professional is nearby and ready to help when needed.Waking Night

About Nurses for Night Care

Night care can be provided by experienced nurses or trained care assistants, depending on the level of support required.

Nurses for night care are typically recommended when someone has more complex medical or clinical needs that require professional oversight during the night. This can include monitoring health conditions, administering medication, managing medical equipment or responding to changes in wellbeing overnight.

Having a qualified nurse present can offer added reassurance for individuals and families, particularly when ongoing medical support is needed alongside personal care. Nurses work to ensure comfort, safety and continuity of care throughout the night, while responding promptly if any issues arise.

Your night care package can be tailored to your individual needs, ensuring the right level of expertise and support is in place.
