Joan O'Sullivan wins National Healthcare Assistant of the Year

On Tuesday 8th November, Business Owners, Healthcare Assistants, Team Members and Managers from across Ireland gathered in Dublin to celebrate excellence at Bluebird Care.
15 finalists were selected from a multitude of nominations to attend an awards ceremony at the Shelbourne Hotel, where each of them were recognised for the incredible work that they do in their roles every day, supporting the most vulnerable people in our communities.
Amoung those finalists was our very own Healthcare Assistant, Joan O'Sullivan who took home the National Award for Healthcare Assistant of the Year, a truely amazing acheivment. Awarded by Dr. Sabina Brennan, she praised Joan's passion and commitment to always providing the highest standard of care.
This week, Joan spoke to Alan Morrissey on Clare FM along with Kay Leahy, Managing Director Bluebird Care Clare and Therese Sexton, Office Manager Bluebird Care Clare. Joan spoke of her passion for delivering quality care while Kay and Theresa echoed her passion and infectious personality which shone through at the Awards Ceremeony earlier this week.
